Hi, I’m Vikash. Senior software engineer, Go primary.

I build backend systems and AI applications for a living: social feeds, LLM-powered products, semantic search, the infrastructure underneath. When something doesn’t make sense, I pull it apart until it does.

This blog is where I write that up. Go internals, systems programming, performance, distributed systems, and whatever else I’ve been digging into. Some posts are long and detailed. Some are quick notes I didn’t want to forget.

I also have a side project: Derelict Facility, a grid-based game engine in Go.
